Subject committees
The 230 members of the Brittany Maritime Cluster are invited to take part in the meetings of the committees to which they have signed up. Each member belongs to one or indeed several of the following subject committees, depending on his/her area of interest :
- Committee 1, Maritime safety and security with 91 members including 47 SMEs
- Committee 2, Shipbuilding and leisure boat-building with 87 members including 51 SMEs
- Committee 3, Marine energy resources with 46 members including 26 SMEs
- Committee 4, Marine biological resources with 94 members including 50 SMEs
- Committee 5, Coastal environmental planning and development with 83 members including 35 SMEs.
Led by members of the Engineering and Co-ordinating Team, committee meetings provide the opportunity for businesses, laboratories and research centres to
- Meet and get to know one another,
- Exchange ideas on the potential each is hoping to develop or translate into a project,
- Launch the search for partners,
- Voice their needs in terms of technology monitoring and economic intelligence.
