Projects approved by the Brittany Maritime Cluster board of directors are collaborative R&D projects supported by businesses and research bodies based mainly in Brittany.
The projects fall within the Cluster’s subject area remit and must meet certain criteria in terms of innovation, technical standards and global positioning. The number of potential users and the markets targeted must make these projects likely to generate significant economic returns for the region as a whole.
Finally, the projects must complement the work of the PACA Maritime Cluster and, where necessary, of other clusters of economic competitiveness.
Since December 2005, the Brittany Maritime Cluster has officially recognised 37 joint R&D projects falling within its thematic remit :
