A heightened need for security PDF Imprimer Envoyer

Safety and security on seas around the world is strengthened by improved methods of surveillance and of protecting goods and people.

Surveillance of the maritime environment demands the deployment of highly complex systems, such as multisensors and multiplatforms via satellite, plane, ship and submarine. Research is currently underway for solutions that will enhance protection for individuals and critical infrastructures and will comply with regulations in the fight to combat piracy and trafficking.

ANTICIPATING THE REGULATIONS

The challenge is to anticipate future European and global regulations and to offer innovative surveillance, intervention and life-saving equipment, whether for individual or community, preventative or timesaving use. This fast growing market represents 19 000 jobs in Brittany and the global turnover in this sector continues to rise.
