Operational governance PDF Imprimer Envoyer

Governance of the Pôle is the responsibility of a Board of Management elected by the members every four years, with half those sitting on the board standing down every two years. The board, chaired by Hervé Moulinier, comprises 18 members divided into four committees. The Interregional Management and Coordination Committee (CPCI), made up of representatives from both the Pôle Mer Bretagne and Pôle Mer PACA, is the other executive body involved in the governance process.

the CPCI

The Interregional Management and Coordination Committee (CPCI) is the joint executive body of the Pôle Mer Bretagne and Pôle Mer PACA. Made up of bureau members from both clusters, this committee oversees projects recognised jointly by both Pôles to ensure consistency, avoid overlap and look for potential complementarity.

engineering and coordinating team

Composed of staff drawn from members of the Pôle, the Engineering and Coordinating Team (EIA) heads the cluster's five subject-area committees and manages the cross-disciplinary activities that its networking role demands. The unique operational profile of this team makes it a naturally dynamic and proactive group.

  • As part of each committee, members of the EIA identify skills and expertise of companies and research labs and foster contacts between them

  • They encourage the various players involved to draw up innovative collaborative projects

  • They support project directors at each stage - setting up projects and securing partners, getting official recognition, obtaining funding and developing economic potential

  • They manage relations with SMEs, undertake international activities and maintain contacts with the French navy and with Action de l’Etat en mer, a government maritime initiative

  • They deal with questions relating to financial engineering, economic intelligence, communication and press relations.
