The Engineering and Co-ordinating Team comprises twenty project executives, either expert in one of the Cluster’s subject areas or responsible for cross-disciplinary activities. Those in the team generally work for a large company, laboratory, research centre or economic development/enterprise agency which is a Cluster member.
In creating the team, the founders of the Brittany Maritime Cluster – DCNS, Thales, IFREMER, Veolia, Brest Iroise Technopole and Brest CCI – have demonstrated their commitment to the initiative. They often devote a significant part of their member of staff’s time to providing the Cluster with the skills needed to function and to monitor projects effectively.

- Structuring of project dossiers put forward to the Cluster’s board of directors for approval,
- Cross-disciplinary activities – relations with SMEs, marketing, financial engineering, technology monitoring, economic intelligence and international development.
