After official project recognition
Projects officially recognised by the Brittany Maritime Cluster can apply for financial assistance from funds earmarked by the government for clusters of economic competitiveness.
Funding applications are put together by one or more directors of the approved project with the help of the Engineering and Co-ordinating Team which also points directors towards the appropriate funding bodies.

Every month, the Brittany Maritime Cluster brings together representatives of different organisations
- involved in potential project funding in order to present newly approved projects
- to orientate each project towards the most appropriate body
- and to report on the progress of funding applications already submitted
As well as applying for government funding, projects can benefit from support from Brittany’s local authorities which decided to devote 10 million euros in 2006 to the Brittany Maritime Cluster as part of their economic development funding programme.
