The Pôle Mer Bretagne and Pôle Mer PACA have joint responsibility for encouraging French economic competitiveness in the maritime sector. The clusters share the same outlook and guiding principles to ensure that all their activities are complementary. They also work together to promote French maritime excellence on the international stage.
one Strategy - two clustersEach of the regions of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Brittany has a long-established maritime history and both have for some time been networking with other European and international maritime regions. The Pôle Mer Bretagne and Pôle Mer PACA adopt a coordinated approach to their international initiatives. Each cluster appoints a project supervisor, drawing on the dynamism of the European maritime regions as a whole. Such essential cooperation between maritime areas ensures that all the diverse elements involved can be brought together in a coherent strategy for the marine environment. |
